SafeSquid has achieved many milestones since the software started to roll out in 2004. SafeSquid has incorporated different authentication protocols for validation of the credentials, it can chain with other Proxy or Firewall, help in managing bandwidth, helps in custom parsers, generate logs, provide cutomizable templates and much more.

SafeSquid is still improving step by step adding features to its core model, we thank our clients that had helped us in every course of the evolution of SafeSquid. Still we want to take the road that is less taken and want to improve which can help you acheve much more than just a Proxy Solution you came out to look for. As you are reading this article many of the proposed enhancements that we would like to add in SafeSquid are in works by our dedicated development team, and the future plans are:-

  • Introduction of SafeSquid for Windows 64-bit.
  • Rewamping of the WebGUI that would make creation of rules much more simpler and touch compatible, which will rise to the current technology.
  • Cloud Based Solution is one more sector that we would love to provide to our end customers.
  • In the near future you might also see a browser addon of SafeSquid which will filter content with just a click.
  • Making SafeSquid compitabe to IPV6.
  • Adding WCCP to SafeSquid.
  • DLP will be included in the core of SafeSquid.

These are just the few to list that you might be seeing in the near future from team SafeSquid.

We hope to bring much more in the near future that meet the demands of the evolving technology and help our users to have a marvelous experience.
