Integrating a Linux Host with a Windows AD for Kerberos SSO

Integrating a Linux Host with a Windows AD for Kerberos SSO

Postby spirit » Thu Sep 11, 2014 4:53 pm

I have the following configuration:
1. Active Directory with domain controllers based on MS Windows 2012 R2.
2. Oracle Enterprise Linux 6 with installed SafeSquid (packege safesquid-NTLM.RC-latest-sa64-standard.tar.gz
3. Domain test PC with MS Windows 7, MS Internet Explorer ver. 8.07600.16385

I followed the instructions "Integrating a Linux Host with a Windows AD for Kerberos SSO authentication"
http://www.safesquid.com/content-filtering/integrating-linux-host-windows-ad-kerberos-sso-authentication
All steps completed successfully, except the last one: Testing your Kerberos SSO authentication setup.

When I try to open Google from my test PC, I receive massages anonymous@<IP_Test pc> in my

/var/log/safesquid/safesquid/access/access.log.
But at this stage, as I understand from your instruction, I’m supposed to receive massages

<username>@<MyDomain>@<IP_Test pc>

How can I fix this problem?

Thank you!

Dear spirit,

Please check whether "PAM" is enabled or not. It should be enable, and make sure that NTLM is also be enabled globally in Access Restriction section.
