cProfiles: failed to lookup site

Postby bizzy » Tue Sep 18, 2012 4:48 pm

Hello. I'm new to SafeSquid. When cProfiles is enabled, nothing loads. The log contains entries like:

2012 09 18 07:02:30 [190] error: cProfiles: failed to lookup site: xxx.com

Thanks for your time.

Hello ,

If you are using the safesquid for windows edition give this command on cmd prompt

nslookup
set type=MX
playboy.com.m.ssquid.in

if you get the below response then the dns querys is working fine for the cprofiles

Non-authoritative answer:
playboy.com.m.ssquid.in MX preference = 100, mail exchanger = porn

if you dont get the above response then the dns server is not able to lookup the site properly .

If you are using the linux version then you can check by this command

dig playboy.com.m.ssquid.in MX +short

This should be the response

100 porn.

if you dont get the above response then dns resolvr is not working
