Error - while watching the SafeSquid process.

Postby chinna » Wed Sep 30, 2015 10:24 pm

I am using SafeSquid CompositeEdition-VERSION-SR.4.2.2.MR.20101026. As of this version is very old.
So i have upgraded to the NTLM.RC. All is good after the upgradation.
Only one thing, when i check the SafeSquid process(/etc/init.d/safesquid process), it shows as follows:

Reading Parameters from /opt/safesquid/safesquid/init.d/startup.conf
/etc/init.d/safesquid: line 984: 0 - : syntax error: operand expected (error token is " ").

My system details :
arch - 32 bit
CentOS release 5.5 (Final)

Hello Chinna,

Could you please send us the support tarball (generated after upgradation) by running the following command.
--->/etc/init.d/safesquid support

This command generates a support tarball in the /tmp/ directory of the server with the current date and time. Please send it to us so that we can help you with that. :)

Also please let us know what is the process you have followed for upgradation.
